ANDERSON, Ind. —
In a formal announcement Tuesday, an industrial filtration products manufacturer said it expects to add over 100 jobs in Anderson.
Hy-Pro, which had previously operated out of a two-building complex in Fishers, said it expects to add 107 jobs in Anderson when it moves to a 17-acre plot just north of Nestle USA’s facility next year. The jobs average $21 per hour plus benefits.
According to a release from the city, the company will invest $10.5 million to build its facilities over the next three years.
Congressman Mike Pence said in a statement the move is “welcome news for this great city, and it confirms my belief that Anderson is an opportune place to do business.”
Hy-Pro is the latest in a string of nine jobs announcements made by Mayor Kevin Smith’s office this year. Smith said his office is in talks with other companies interested in setting up shop in Anderson.

Reservoir proposed for Anderson area
Madison County Corporation for Economic Development Director Rob Sparks, in an exclusive interview Thursday with The Herald Bulletin, released details of a proposed project to establish a seven-mile long, 2,000-acre reservoir on White River in Madison and Delaware counties.
