INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Two Republicans from Indiana are part of the new Tea Party Caucus in Congress.
Reps. Mike Pence and Dan Burton have joined the caucus, which held its first meeting Wednesday. Pence, who represents Madison County, is the third-ranking GOP member of the U.S. House.
The head of the caucus, Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota, says the group will serve as a listening board for average Americans.
