Minnefield elected to national board

ANDERSON, Ind. — Rosetta Minnefield, who leads the local board of directors of the Madison County Community Health Centers Inc., was elected to serve a two-year term, 2011-2013, as the national consumer representative of the National Association of Community Health Centers Inc.

In this capacity she will attend four national board meetings to be held in New Orleans, La., this month; Washington, D.C., in March 2012; Orlando, Fla., in September 2012; and Charleston, S.C., in October 2012. Her responsibilities include representing the general issues that consumers are concerned with throughout the United States,.

Minnefield’s theme of ROSE (Resilience, Optimism, Strength, Experience) garnered more votes than her competitor from Alaska. Her campaign manager was MCCHC board director, Jahnae Erpenbach, executive director of Hoosier Park.

Her election represents the first person from Indiana to serve on the National Board in more than 20 years.
