ANDERSON -- Indiana is among three states being considered by Norwegian automaker Think in which to establish its first North American plant, according to the Indianapolis Star.
On Wednesday, Reuters news service reported that an Indiana site had been selected for the plant, but that report proved to be premature.
Think spokesman Brendan Prebo said the company plans to use federal grant funding to build the plant and is looking for a "brownfield" industrial site where former manufacturing workers could find a new opportunity. The Think plant could employ 300 workers and produce 16,000 of its two-seat electric car, City, each year.
