Good morning.

It’s 6:30 a.m. Mondday and the staff at The Herald Bulletin is getting down to work. We will pursue news throughout the day and will have frequent updates here on our Web site.

Today, no school closings or delays have been reported, despite the first snow accumulation of the year. Several traffic accidents have ocurred, including some slide-offs along Interstate 69. Traffic on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard is reportedly backed up from Interstate 69 to 53rd Street.

In the news, a pedestrian was struck by a car near the intersection of Scatterfield Road and Mounds Road late Sunday, we’ll find out what happened. Randy Horton is expected to be sentenced to seven counts of child molestation. And the Anderson City Council will hold a special meeting to determine the 2010 utilities budget at 5:30 p.m.
