ANDERSON — The old man of 2009 is gone, but Madison County still awaits the first baby of the new year.
As of 6 p.m. Friday, there had been no births reported at Community Hospital Anderson, Saint John’s Medical Center or at Saint Vincent Mercy Hospital in Elwood.
