ANDERSON, Ind. —
Looking for a Christmas gift for someone who reads? Want to shop locally? You might find just what you’re looking for at the 4th Annual Local Authors Book Fair at the Anderson Public Library on Friday and Saturday, from noon to 4:30 p.m. both days. This year’s Authors Fair features the largest number of Madison County authors yet, offering books, CDs, and DVDs for sale and autographing.
Jim Lyon, senior pastor at Madison Park Church of God, will be there on Friday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. to sign copies of his book Go Ahead Ask Anything. Also on Friday, Herald Bulletin columnist Don McAllister will sign copies of his new book The Pencil Man, which is based on an Anderson historical character. Elmore Hammes will have copies of his new book Questionable Heroes, Debra Kemp will have the first two books of her House of Pendragon series, and Violet Ryan will have copies her book The Ambassador’s Daughter.
Other authors scheduled to attend include: Ruth Shiness Brinduse, Toni Cantrell, Kate Chaplin, Deborah Hester, Art Jaggard (Saturday only), Andrew Jones, Donna Nobles, Jesse Reynolds, Tammy Sloss, Linda Teeple, Dawson Vosburg, Doug Welch and Dale Stultz (Church of God Historical Society).
