Millbrook Tree Farm to give trees to troops
YORKTOWN — Millbrook Tree Farm will participate in the 2009 Trees for Troops program along with the Christmas Spirit Foundation and FedEx Corporation. Brunch to feature value stream mapping
ANDERSON — The December Brunch + Learn program will be on value stream mapping, a way to identify areas of inefficiency and waste in businesses. Indianapolis area home sales up
INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis area home sales increased by 23 percent in October compared to October 2008, according to monthly data compiled by Re/max of Indiana. This year, 2,199 homes were sold in October; last October, 1,781 homes were sold.
CJ Boots to relocate downtown
ANDERSON – CJ Boots Casket Company will move into its new location at 516 Meridian St., Anderson, and celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony 2 p.m. Monday. CJ Boots previously operated from a facility on 38th Street.
“The relocation to downtown signals a renewed commitment to community and a vote of confidence in the local business climate,” said a city press release.
