Credit union to unveil new building
ANDERSON — Madison County-based Independent Federal Credit Union will unveil its new main office, 3737 S. Scatterfield Road, with a grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The celebration will offer donations to Madison County charities, prizes and giveaways for the public, live radio remote coverage and building tours.
The new main office will feature new technology, concierge member services and Guided Personal Services that replace standard teller counters with teller pods.
It also will have a member social area with coffee and news and house all member services officers and staff for customers to open an account, take out a loan or have consultations.
PathStone hosts home buying workshop
MUNCIE — First-time home buyers who would like to purchase a new home in Madison or surrounding counties are offered help from PathStone Corp., which will host a home ownership information workshop 10 a.m. to noon and 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at its office, 2819 N. Oakwood Ave.
