Elden Creative’s work honored

ANDERSON — The work of Elden Creative Group, an Anderson creative firm, has been featured on a prominent logo design Web site called Logo Of The Day, “a high-profile logo design award scheme that rewards the best professional logos and trademarks designed throughout the world.”

The winning logo was that of Figure Nine, Inc., a small bookkeeping and accounting firm in Greenfield. The logo was honored with the additional distinction of being named the site’s “Logo of the Month,” for October, because it was the highest-rated logo for that time period.



Workshop for new homeowners set

MUNCIE — First-time home buyers who would like to purchase a home in Madison or surrounding counties are offered help from PathStone Corp. It will host a homeownership information workshop from 10 a.m.-noon or 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at its office, 2819 N. Oakwood Ave., Muncie. Refreshments will be provided.

Local REALTORS honor their own

ANDERSON — The Anderson/Madison County Association of REALTORS (AMCAR) recently announced the recipients of its three most prestigious honors.

Jim Bittner, ReMax Real Estate Groups, was named AMCAR’s REALTOR of the Year. Jim is the 2009 AMCAR president and has been active in the local association, Indiana Association and the National Association of REALTORS.

Betty Mitchell, F. C. Tucker O. C. Clark Realtors, received AMCAR’s 2009 Distinguished Service Award. Betty was president of AMCAR in 1990 and an active member of her association.

Nancy Rada Thomas, Member Mortgage Services, was chosen as AMCAR’s 2009 Affiliate of the Year. Nancy is a mortgage loan originator and 14-year member of AMCAR.
