Ravens turn back No. 2 Trine
Greenfield freshman Sami Frazier limited the No. 2-ranked team in the country to three hits as Anderson University defeated Trine 5-1 here Thursday.
The win moved the Ravens into the second round of the NCAA Division III Regional Tournament in Angola. AU will play at 2 p.m. today against Aurora. -
Ravens dominate HCAC team
Anderson University’s Amy Wuestefeld has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player of the 2013 softball season and Sami Frazier was named the HCAC Pitcher of the Year as well as Freshman of the Year.

The Anderson University softball team became the first Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference team to win three straight postseason tournament championships on Saturday, defeating Manchester University 5-1 in the second championship game.

Kelly’s message: Notre Dame close to title caliber
Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly knows the importance of staying on message, and he has been consistent all spring.
As the Fighting Irish prepared for the annual Blue-Gold game Saturday, Kelly said he believes Notre Dame is close to winning its first national championship since 1988. At the same time, he’s telling players that they can’t depend on last season’s success leading to victories in 2013.
