-- Elwood police arrested Ashley N. Hartman, 21, of the 1000 block of North 11th Street, Elwood, at 4:01 a.m. Saturday at 1505 South B Street, Elwood. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class D felonies possession of a controlled substance and possession or use of a legend drug.
-- Elwood police arrested Neil P. Bender, 18, of the 10000 block of Witmer Road, Grabill, Ind., at 12:28 a.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of Main Street, Elwood. Bond was set for $6,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
