These people were arrested Friday and Saturday in Madison County.

— Edgewood police arrested Trey D. Messer, 19, West 14th Street, Anderson. 1:56 a.m. Saturday. Near West Eighth Street and Winding Way. Suspicion of possession of marijuana. No bond.

— Anderson police arrested Marcus A. Pearson, 37, West 11th Street, Anderson. 5:50 a.m. Saturday. Near Cross Street and Madison Avenue. Suspicion of possession of marijuana and public intoxication. Bond is $4,000.

— Edgewood police arrested Parish R. Turner, 19, Rocky Road, Anderson. 1:56 a.m. Saturday. Near West Eighth Street and Winding Way. Suspicion of possession of marijuana and public intoxication. Bond is $3,000.

— Anderson police arrested Dana J. Stewart, 27, Inman Drive, Ingalls. 4:14 a.m. Saturday. Suspicion of battery and invasion of privacy. No bond.

— Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert L. Stohler II, 50, West Jefferson Street, Alexandria. 1:56 a.m. Saturday. 7200 block of North Indiana 9. Suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of a legend drug. Bond is $5,000.

— Indiana State Police troopers arrested William L. Davis, 33, Fletcher Street, Anderson. 1:58 a.m. Saturday. Near Scatterfield Road and 36th Street. Suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond is $5,000.

— Anderson police arrested Jeffrey M. Stephenson, 39, Belzer Drive, Anderson. 9 p.m. Friday. 2600 block of Burton Place. Suspicion of battery. No bond.

— Anderson police arrested Robert E. Widener, 30, Fernway Drive, Anderson. 3 a.m. Saturday. 1300 block of East 53rd Street. Suspicion of domestic battery and invasion of privacy. No bond.

— Anderson police arrested Richard L. Jones, 53, Belzer Drive, Anderson. 9 p.m. Friday. 3600 block of Burton Place. Suspicion of battery. No bond.

— Anderson police arrested James E. Love, 52, West 21st Street, Anderson. 9:30 p.m. Friday. 2400 block of Arrow Avenue. Suspicion of battery. No bond.

— Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Trenton G. Jones, 29, Harvey Street, Anderson. 3:59 a.m. Saturday. Near University Boulevard and Graceland Avenue. Suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Released.

    A Chinese immigrant who tried to kill herself by eating rat poison was free on bond Tuesday after more than a year in an Indianapolis jail on charges that she killed her 33-week-old fetus.
