People arrested in Anderson and Madison County Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

- Elwood police arrested Joshua D. Simmons, 23, North 10th Street, Elwood. Tuesday. 8:55 a.m. North 10th Street, Elwood. Suspicion of Class D felony domestic battery. $5,000 bond.

- Anderson police arrested Marketh Spencer, 19, Chesterfield Drive, Anderson. Tuesday. 11:40 p.m. 27 N. Elma St., Anderson. Suspicion of Class D felony domestic battery. $5,000 bond.

- Indiana State police arrested Carl F. Clark, 43, South Mulberry Street, Muncie. Monday. 10:21 p.m. Martin Luther King Boulevard and Interstate 69. Suspicion of Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated. $4,000 bond.

- Chesterfield police arrested Aaron S. Briles, 30, Lot 6 Royal Oaks, Chesterfield. Monday. 8:30 p.m. Lot 6 Royal Oaks, Chesterfield. Suspicion of Class D felony domestic battery and Class A misdemeanor interference with the reporting of a crime. $10,000 bond.

- Anderson police arrested Austin L. Amos, 19, Northwood Drive, Anderson. Monday. 8:36 a.m. 1015 Greenway Drive, Anderson. Suspicion of Class C felony burglary and Class D felony theft. $10,000 bond.

- Anderson police arrested John W. Sawyer, 62, Nichol Avenue, Anderson. Sunday. 2:01 a.m. 2310 Nichol Ave., Anderson. Suspicion of Class C felonies battery with a weapon and intimidation, and Class D felonies criminal confinement and strangulation. $10,000 bond.
