ANDERSON — The Madison County Sheriff’s Department is looking for at least one man involved in at least two Lafayette Township burglaries Thursday morning, according to Sheriff Ron Richardson.
Richardson said a resident in the 1700 block of West County Road 300 North returned home Thursday morning to find his home had been burglarized. Just before arriving home, he noticed a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt running toward a car that the resident had never seen in his neighborhood. The model of car was not available.
After police investigated the first burglary, they found another burglarized home in the area and believe the two burglaries are connected, Richardson said.
The sheriff added that there may be more burglaries or more people involved. He asks anyone with information to call the department at 642-0221.
