Nov. 17: Arrest Log

* Anderson police arrested Thomas E. Gibbs, 43, of the 1500 block of Cincinnati Avenue, Anderson at 4:48 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 19th and Columbus streets, Anderson, on suspicion of public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor, and possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony. Bond is $10,000.

* Anderson police arrested Shawn M. Parks, 36, of the 2700 block of Dakota Drive, Anderson, at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the 20 block of Golden Drive, Anderson, on suspicion of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor, and invasion of privacy, a Class B misdemeanor. There is no bond.

* Indiana State Police arrested Jeremy D. Smith, 25, of the 700 block of West 17th Street, Anderson, at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, at Columbus and 19th streets, Anderson, on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond is $5,000.

* Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Mario A. Nava, 28, of the 10400 block of Cornell Avenue, Indianapolis, at 2:45 a.m. at the Madison County Jail, on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated. Bond is $10,000.

* Anderson police arrested Anthony J. Carter, 34, of the 2200 block of Arrow Avenue, Anderson, at 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2200 block of West 19th Street, Anderson, on suspicion of possession of cocaine, a Class D felony and public intoxication, a Class B misdemeanor. Bond is $5,000.

* Anderson police arrested Benjamin J.D. Barrett, 26, of the 200 block of West Willow Street, Anderson, at 6 p.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of West 38th Street, Anderson on suspicion of operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol of 10 percent or higher. Bond is $5,000.
