Arrest Log: Nov. 18, 2009

People arrested in Anderson and Madison County on Sunday and Monday

- Anderson police arrested Michael D. Brooks, 52, of the 900 block of West Sixth Street, Anderson at 9:45 p.m. Monday at 30th and Meridian Streets, Anderson. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor shoplifting and Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.

- Anderson police arrested Justin B. Reynolds, 36, of the 1900 block of Pearl Street, Anderson at 10:50 p.m. Monday at 421 East 23rd Street, Anderson. No bond was set on charges of Class A misdemeanor battery.

- Anderson Drug Task Force police arrested Andre D. Mitchell, 25, of the 2200 block of Halford Street, Anderson at 8:36 p.m. Monday at 29th and Main Streets, Anderson. Bond was set for $20,000 on charges of Class B felony dealing in cocaine.

- Anderson Drug Task Force police arrested Donald G. Mitchell, 61, of the 2900 block of McKinley Drive, Anderson at 8:22 p.m. Monday at his home. Bond was set for $20,000 on two charges of Class B felony dealing in cocaine and one charge of Class D felony maintaining a common nuisance.

- Anderson police arrested Brian K. Thompson, 31, of the 1700 block of Drexel Drive, Anderson at 5:30 p.m. Monday. Bond was set for $20,000 on charges of Class B felony burglary and Class D felony theft.

- Indiana State troopers arrested Richard W. Smith Jr., of the 1500 block of Yorktown Street, Martinsburg at 3:35 a.m. Friday at Scatterfield Road and 56th Street. He was released a full-cash $700 bond for charges of Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

- Madison County Deputies arrested Mario A. Nava, 28, of the 10000 block of Cornell Avenue, Indianapolis at 2:45 a.m. Sunday at Madison County Jail. He was released on a $10,000 bond for Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

- Ingalls police arrested Toby D. Johnson, 26, of the 50 block of Inman Drive, Ingalls at 5:30 p.m. Monday at his home. He was released on a $10,000 bond for Class A misdemeanor domestic battery.

- Alexandria police arrested Timothy W. Hendrickson, 40, of the 1000 block of Indiana Avenue, Alexandria at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was released on a $5,000 bond for Class A misdemeanor operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

- Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Kelly N. Raible, 28, of the 600 block of Main St., Anderson, at 1:15 p.m. Monday at the Madison County Jail. Bond was set for $10,000 on two counts of failure to register as a sex offender, a Class C felony and a Class D felony, and probation violation, a Class C felony.

- Madison County sheriff’s deputies arrested Mark T. Carr, 46, of the 600 block of Main St., Anderson, at 10:29 a.m. Monday at the Madison County Jail. No bond was set for a charge of contempt of court, a Class D felony.

- Anderson police arrested Thomas H. Kollros II, 38, West Seventh Street, Anderson, at 10:20 p.m. Sunday at his home. No bond was set on a charge of domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.

- Alexandria police arrested Chad E. Gordon, 24, South N Street, Elwood, in the 200 block of Washington Street at 5 a.m. Monday. Bond was set for $10,000 on a charge of burglary, a Class C felony.

- Indiana State Police arrested Jeremy D. Smith, 25, West 17th Street, Anderson, at Columbus Avenue and 19th Street at 2:45 a.m. Sunday. Bond was set at $5,000 on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, a Class A misdemeanor.

- Anderson police arrested Michael C. Welker, 35, of the 2200 block of Lincoln Street, at 6 a.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of Main Street. He was released on a charge of possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor.

    Memorial Day weekend  took a tragic turn Saturday evening as an Anderson man visiting Monroe Reservoir died. Three other Anderson men were arrested later that day following the death of Matthew Hosier, 29.

    Since October 2006, Donald Lock has been confined to a wheel chair because of a degenerative bone disease. He has spent time at correctional facilities throughout the state, but it wasn’t until he was transferred to Pendleton earlier this year that he said he felt his disability was ignored.
