Wednesday, Nov. 25: Arrest log

People arrested in Anderson and Madison County on Monday and Tuesday

- Anderson police arrested Patricia I. Stephenson, 46, of the 1500 block of Dewey Street, Anderson, at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Anderson Country Inn. No bond was set of charges of Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.

- Anderson police arrested Rodney L. Jones, 41, of the 1300 block of West 21st Street, Anderson, at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday at Meijer on Scatterfield Road. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor shoplifting.

- Anderson police arrested Andrea M. Davis, 34, of the 1500 block of West Fourth Street, Anderson, at 1:55 p.m. Tuesday at Meijer on Scatterfield Road. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor shoplifting.

- Elwood police arrested Bryant M. Grose, 23, of the 800 block of North 14th Street, Elwood, at 2:16 a.m. Tuesday at his home. Bond was set for $3,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor domestic battery and Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

- Anderson police arrested Michael K. Aldridge, 23, of the 2400 block of Pitt Street, Anderson, at 7:16 a.m. Tuesday at 1209 East 38th Street, Anderson. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class D felony residential entry.

- Elwood police arrested Wesley W. Hughes, 19, of the 2300 block of North B Street, Elwood, at 5 p.m. Monday at the Elwood Police Department. Bond was set for $20,000 on charges of Class D felony theft, Class D felony possession or use of a legend drug or prescription, and Class B felony dealing in a schedule IV controlled substance.

- Anderson police arrested Gunnar G. Zell, 18, of the 1800 block of B Street, Anderson, at 7:40 p.m. Monday at 1900 Applewood Drive, Anderson. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class D felony theft, Class D felony intimidation, Class A misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a child and Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

- Elwood police arrested Derrick A. Rominger, 22, of the 1800 block of Main Street, Anderson, at 6:05 p.m. Monday at 2034 Main Street, Anderson. He was released by court order with charges of Class A misdemeanor battery.

- Alexandria police arrested Christopher L. Addison, 19, of the 900 block of West Fourth Street, Anderson, at 1:55 a.m. Monday at Harrison and Waters streets, Alexandria. He was released on his own recognizance with charges of Class D felony possession of a controlled substance, Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana, Class A misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.

- Madison County deputies arrested Tony A. Faucett, 44, of the 2400 block of South D Street, Elwood, at 3:35 p.m. Monday at 1100 N. 1500W. He was released on a $5,000 bond on three charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class D felony, Class A misdemeanor and Class C misdemeanor.

- Anderson police arrested Bryan M. Smith, 18, of the 400 block of Hendricks Street, Anderson, at 2:05 a.m. Tuesday at his home. He was released to the Madison County Correctional Center with charges of Class A misdemeanor battery.

- Anderson police arrested Richard E. Blanch Jr., 49, of the 2600 block of Fowler Street, Anderson, at 6:29 p.m. Monday at Lowes. He was released to Madison County Correctional Center with charges of Class A misdemeanor shoplifting.

- Anderson police arrested Richard L. Jefferson II, 47, of the 2800 block of West 34th Street, Anderson, at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Lowes. He was released to Madison County Correctional Center with charges of Class A misdemeanor shoplifting.

- Anderson police arrested Roxanna L. Cogill, 43, of the 2300 block of Noble Street, Anderson, at 7:15 a.m. Monday at West 53rd Street and Ridge Road, Anderson. She was released on a $5,000 bond with three charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated as a Class D felony and two Class A misdemeanors.

- Anderson police arrested Larry E. Stephenson, 39, of the 2600 block of West 18th Street, Anderson, at 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 20. He was released by court order with charges of Class A misdemeanor intimidation and Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

- Madison County deputies arrested Mary L. Porter, 33, of the 600 block of West Charles Street, Anderson, at 9:52 p.m. Wednesday at the Madison County Jail. She was released by court order with charges of Class A misdemeanor driving while suspended.

- Anderson police arrested Stanley G. Sayler, 35, of the 7400 block of South Main Street, Warsaw, at 10:17 p.m. on Aug. 10 at 5836 Martin Luther King Blvd., Anderson. He was released on a $10,000 bond on charges of Class C felony possession of a precursor and Class A misdemeanor carrying a handgun without a license.

    Memorial Day weekend  took a tragic turn Saturday evening as an Anderson man visiting Monroe Reservoir died. Three other Anderson men were arrested later that day following the death of Matthew Hosier, 29.

    Since October 2006, Donald Lock has been confined to a wheel chair because of a degenerative bone disease. He has spent time at correctional facilities throughout the state, but it wasn’t until he was transferred to Pendleton earlier this year that he said he felt his disability was ignored.
