- Anderson police arrested Randy J. Lee, 30, of the 200 block of South 25th Street, New Castle, at 10:31 p.m. Saturday in the 10 block of Jackson Street, Anderson. Bond was set for $10,000 on charges of Class C felony burglary and Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.
- Anderson police arrested Kevin C. Fields, 41, of the 2400 block of Delaware Street, Anderson, at 11:14 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of West Fifth Street. No bond was set on charges of Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy and Class B felony criminal mischief and public intoxication.
- Elwood police arrested Rodney E. Rice, 44, of the 1300 block of Main Street, Elwood, at 7:17 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of South A Street, Elwood. No bond was set on charges of Class D felony contempt of court and Class A misdemeanor resisting law enforcement.

Preliminary reports from the Madison County Sheriff's office indicate that a murder-suicide occurred at around 5 a.m. Saturday at a diner in Pendleton.
