ANDERSON, Ind. — Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Tuesday and Wednesday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County Prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Anderson police arrested Christopher J. Short, 29, of the 1900 block of Ohio Avenue, Anderson, at 5:22 p.m. Wednesday at Ohio Avenue and Dixie Street. No bond was set on charges of Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
  • Elwood police arrested Eric S. Smith, 39, of the 2300 block of South B Street, Elwood, at 1:31 p.m. Wednesday at his home. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class D felony strangulation and Class A misdemeanor domestic battery.
  • Anderson police arrested Valencia Stennis, 19, of the 3100 block of Autumn Ridge Drive, Anderson, at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at her home. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor battery and Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
  • Anderson police arrested Charlotte A. Stennis, 21, of the 3100 block of Autumn Ridge Drive, Anderson, at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at her home. No bond was set on charges of Class A misdemeanor battery and Class B misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
  • Anderson police arrested Ashton R. Thompson, 19, of the 200 block of Plum Street, Anderson, at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday at his home. Bond was set for $5,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor trespass and Class B misdemeanor refusal to aid an officer.
  • Edgewood police arrested Robert J. Wright II, 33, of the 1900 block of Euclid Drive, Anderson, at 10:07 p.m. Tuesday at 18th Street and Drexel Drive. Bond was set for $3,000 on charges of Class A misdemeanor driving while suspended.
  • Madison County deputies arrested Brittani D. Mullens, 21, of the 1100 block of Jackson Street, Anderson, at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday at 11th and Jackson streets. Bond was set for $20,000 on charges of Class D felony attempted theft and Class B felony burglary.
