ANDERSON, Ind. —
Rising temperatures early today offset freezing rain and sleet that fell overnight throughout Central Indiana, authorities said.
No accidents or slide offs were reported by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department or Indiana State Police in Pendleton.
The Madison-Grant United School Corporation was on a two hour delay because of hazardous road conditions, according to the school corporation’s website, no other schools reported problems.
The National Weather Service said there’s a 40 percent chance of rain through today. Cloudy conditions will continue tonight, but the sun is expected to break through on Tuesday.
