Arrest log: March 16

Arrests made by Madison County law enforcement on Thursday and Friday, based on Madison County Jail records. Charges are recommended by arresting officers, but are not final until the Madison County prosecutor reviews the case and files official charges.

  • Madison County police arrested Nicholas A. Morrow, 24, of the 5600 block of Emerson Way, Anderson, at 9:21 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $500 for a Class C felony in another jurisdiction and civil contempt of court.
  • Alexandria police arrested Jeffrey T. Duvall, 25, of the 1100 block of West Monroe Street, Alexandria at 10:51 a.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor battery.
  • State police arrested April M. Johnson, 37, of the 1300 block of Woodbine Drive, Anderson, at 2:03 p.m. Thursday in the intersection of 38th Street and Scatterfield Road, Anderson. Johnson posted bail of $4,000 for Class C misdemeanor OWI.
  • Madison County police arrested Larry D. Obryant II, 29, of the 1300 block of Bramble Way, Anderson, at 3 p.m. Thursday in the 4500 block of County Road 100 West, Anderson. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor failure to appear, Class D felony habitual traffic offender, Class D felony possession of a controlled substance and a Class D felony in another jurisdiction.
  • Madison County police arrested Alan E. Redd Sr., 39, of the 1600 block of Fairview Street, Anderson, at 6:06 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $2,000 for two counts of Class C felony contempt of court and two counts of Civil contempt of court.
  • Madison County police arrested Justin L. Taapken, 27, of the 1600 block of North Broadway, Anderson, at 10:15 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $10,000 for Class C felony battery with a deadly weapon, Class D felony battery with injury and Class A misdemeanor criminal mischief.
  • Anderson police arrested Ronald W. Buttermore, 43, of the 2600 block of East County Road 1300 North, Alexandria, at 11:05 p.m. Thursday. Bond was set at $20,000 for Class D felony failure to appear, Class C felony criminal confinement, Class D felony intimidation, Class A misdemeanor interfering with reporting of a crime and Class D felony domestic battery.
  • Anderson police arrested Rex D. Rauten-Kranz, 57, of Metro Boulevard, Anderson, at 11:11 p.m. Thursday. Rauten-Kranze was court ordered released for Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
  • Elwood police arrested Joseph W. Cox, 35, of the 500 block of West Griffin, Galveston, at 8:40 a.m. Friday. Bond was set at $10,000 for Class A misdemeanor violation of probation, Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy and Class D felony possession of a controlled substance smoking instrument.
  • Anderson police arrested Brandon A. Vaughn, 28, of the 2600 block of Jackson Street, Anderson, at 9:43 a.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony maintaining a common nuisance, Class D felony battery, Class A misdemeanor possession of marijuana and Class D felony failure to appear.
  • Chesterfield police arrested Mona L. Zachary-Cunningham, 51, of the 300 block of North Water Street, Chesterfield, at 10:26 a.m. Friday. Zachary-Cunningham posted bail of $5,000 for Class D felony OWI and Class C misdemeanor OWI.
  • Elwood police arrested Myra K. Stewart, 32, of the 600 block of Pearl Street, Windfall, at 10:38 a.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony OWI, Class A misdemeanor OWI and Class B misdemeanor public intoxication.
  • Anderson police arrested Norman D. Anderson, 48, of the 1100 block of West 11th Street, Anderson, at 11:33 a.m. Friday. No bond was set for Class B felony dealing cocaine, Class B felony possession of a controlled substance, Class A misdemeanor driving while suspended and Class D felony parole violation.
  • Anderson police arrested Ricky W. Williams, 50, of the 2000 block of Noble Street, Anderson,a t 1:33 p.m. Friday in the 1500 block of Jefferson Street, Anderson. Williams was court ordered released for Class A misdemeanor invasion of privacy.
  • Madison County police arrested Shawn L. Sizelove, 35, of the 800 block of Maple Street, Frankton, at 1:53 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class D felony residential entry, Class A misdemeanor battery and Class B misdemeanor battery.
  • Elwood police arrested Edwin V. Wright Jr., 35, of the 3500 block of Sumner Lane, Anderson, at 2:22 p.m. Friday. Bond was set at $5,000 for Class A misdemeanor conversion.
