ANDERSON, Ind. —
Nineteen winners of local school spelling bees will participate in The Herald Bulletin regional bee at 6 p.m. today in the Anderson City Building auditorium. The winner will advance to the Scripps National Spelling Bee in May in Washington.
The local bee will take place today despite school cancellations. According to authorities, the condition of local roads is improving as snowfall has stopped and crews continue to clear snow and apply salt to the roads.

Tenth Street students win first in nationwide Nestle contest
