ALEXANDRIA, Ind. —
The Alexandria library will host a holiday open house on Friday, Nov. 30 from 3 to 7 p.m. as part of the Small Town Christmas celebration. Kid’s Cookie Decorating will be from 3 to 3:45 p.m., Teen Ornament Making from 4 to 4:45 p.m. and, for the adults, the holiday film classic “The Man Who Came to Dinner” will be shown from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
The library will be decorated for the holidays and we will feature holiday music and refreshments beginning at 5pm. As an added bonus to this year’s festivities, library staff are competing in a mini-Christmas tree decorating contest where the public votes on their favorite tree by putting donations in a the jar for their tree of choice. The jar with the most donations wins. All proceeds go to the library’s gift fund which helps us put together great programs and events throughout the year.
For more information on the library or library events, call 724-2196 or visit www.alex.lib.in.us.
