MUNCIE, Ind. — "Late Show" host David Letterman plans to return to his alma mater in September.
Letterman will visit Ball State University in Muncie to lead a conversation with Twitter co-founder Biz Stone. Letterman and Stone plan to talk about social media during a public forum on Sept. 17 on the Ball State campus. It's part of the David Letterman Distinguished Professional Lecture and Workshop Series established in 2008.
Ball State is offering seats to students and faculty with specific restrictions because demand is expected to be great. Ticket instructions are posted on a school website.
In 2007, Ball State dedicated its new $21 million communication and media building in Letterman's honor.
