The Concerts in the Park series has been set for Elwood for the summer.
All concerts are free and begin at 4 p.m. at the Jim Knoop band shell in Callaway Park on North 19th Street. -
Beatles tribute band to hit stage
Singer and guitarist Bryan Wilson jokes that his family arranged the location of their couches and chairs based on albums by The Beatles. Naturally, Wilson ended up in three Beatles tribute bands including Forever — The Tribute, which is coming to the Paramount Theatre Saturday.

Hoosier Idol County contestants to compete for $5,000
On Saturday, nine contestants will sing for their chance at a $5,000 prize and the opportunity to perform as an opening act in the Coors Light Summer Music Track II outdoor concert series in the Hoosier Idol Country semifinals. Only three of the contestants will be selected to move on to the finals.
