Lundy Harvey of Anderson celebrated his 90th birthday with his family and friends the weekend of July 17-18. He was born July 18, 1920, in Wilkinson. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a tool and die maker for Delco Remy until his retirement. He is a member of Madison Park Church of God.
He has been married for 53 years to Irene Harvey. He has five children, Ronnie (Luisa) Harvey, St. Petersburg, Fla., Vivian (the late Dale) Atkins, Anderson, Glen (Jan) Howard and Regina (Dwaine) Jackson, Pendleton and the late Judy McCardle. He has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
