Steve and Shelly Scott, of Elwood, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Casey Nicole, to Chase Jordan Headley.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Elwood Community High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Tennessee. She is now a personal fitness trainer and a nutrition counselor.
Her fiancé is the son of Kim and Jane Headley of Fountain, Colo. He is a 2002 graduate of Fountain-Fort Carson High School. He also attended the University of Tennessee, where he played baseball and was drafted by the San Diego Padres during this junior year. He plays Major League Baseball for the Padres.
The couple will exchange vows and celebrate with a small, intimate ceremony and reception in Knoxville, Tenn., on Nov. 15. They plan to reside in Knoxville during baseball’s off-seasons.
