Ramsay
Erma McCord Ramsay will celebrate her 90th birthday Feb. 14 with an open house hosted by her children, Toni (Manuel) Cantrell and Brian (Dawn) McCord, at Landmark Baptist Church, 1924 W. Cross St., Anderson, from 2 to 4 p.m. Feb. 15.
Erma Valentine Allen moved to Anderson in 1944 to work at radio station WHBU. She worked at Pay Less Super Markets as advertising and promotion manager, retiring in 1983.
She and her husband, Kenneth Ramsay, reside outside Waveland, and enjoy their families, traveling, dancing and getting together with friends.
Her grandchildren are Dennis and Terry Cantrell, Lindsey and Jordan McCord, Danielle and Scott Hines; great-grandchildren, Angela (John) Wanner and Corey Cantrell; and great-great-grandson, Brandon Wanner.
