Mr. and Mrs. Donald Padgett celebrated their 60th anniversary on Feb. 26.
Donald Mac Padgett and Treva Elizabeth Fowler were married Feb. 26, 1949, by the Rev. Wesley Bransford of the First Methodist Church in Anderson. The organist was Dorthy Blazzaid, and the vocalists were Sarah Jane Salatin and Joyce Vaughn.
Mr. Padgett is retired from Conrail. Mrs. Padgett is retired from self-employment.
They are the parents of Andrea Johnson, Donita Crago and Penelope Jordan. They have seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
