A celebration will be held at noon Sunday, March 15 in honor of the 95th birthday of Floyd “Gene” Parvis at Cross Roads United Methodist Church. Stop by and wish Gene Happy Birthday. No gifts please.
Gene is retired from Delco Remy.
He and his wife of nine years, Vivian Parvis, reside in Anderson. He has one daughter, Penny (husband, Roger) Skinner of Florida, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He also has a stepdaughter, Jude (husband, Dick) Sochacki of Anderson.
He and his wife, Vivian, met while volunteering at Saint John’s Medical Center, where he volunteered for 28 years.
