Milestones: Tinch 50th anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Willie Rayborn Tinch are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Ray and Claudean were married March 21, 1959, in Cookeville, Tenn. The couple moved to Anderson in 1961.

Ray worked for Jack Pitts Construction and then in 1976 he started his own company, Ray Tinch & Son Construction. Ray retired in 2006. Claudean is a homemaker.

An open house will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on March 21 at their home, 4020 E. 150N, Anderson, hosted by their daughter, Debbie (husband, Jeff Flath), son, Bobby Tinch (wife, Mickey).

The Tinchs have four grandchildren, Bobby D. Tinch (1978-1979), Bobby Ray Tinch of Ohio, Breanna Tinch of Anderson and Jennifer Flath of Daleville.
