Gretna A. (Thomas) and G. Neal Renner recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner party at a local establishment.
They were married Jan. 31, 1947, in Fishersburg, by the Rev. Earl Renner, uncle of the groom.
They have lived in Anderson their entire married life.
Gretna retired from the accounting department of Fisher Guide after 44 years of service.
Neal served with the U.S. Merchant Marines during World War II and also retired from the personnel department at Fisher Guide after 41 years of service.
Neal and Gretna are the parents of Belita Hornbeck of New Castle. In addition, they are the grandparents of Lori (Steve) Dunn and Bryan Hornbeck, both of Anderson.
