Cole
Hugh and Phyllis Cole will celebrate their 60th anniversary with an open house hosted by their children on Sept. 12 at their home from 2 to 5 p.m.
They were married Sept. 2, 1950, at Phyllis’ parents’ home in Greenfield.
Hugh retired from General Motors after 41 years as a tool and die maker. Phyllis is a retired beautician.
They have enjoyed square dancing and traveled extensively with the Gold Wing Riders Association.
They are the parents of three children: Phillip Cole of Virginia, Penny Ricketts of Pendleton and Susan (Steve) Drinkut of Markleville.
They have seven grandchildren: Dustin, Austin, Shane, Chad, Emma, Cole and Kyle. They have four great-grandchildren.
