I agree with your excellent commentary on Jan. 12, 2013, concerning Mike Pence’s new position as Indiana’s governor. I have concerns about his views on scientific facts since he believes in teaching creationism in public schools. That is why we have church and Sunday school for this teaching; we don’t need religion in the public school system.
He is vague on his beliefs in global warming — that is worrisome. He is a tea party member, another worry for me. Some of the members are extreme and radical and, in my opinion, have hurt the more sensible Republican Party. Did you know they are trying to shut down our postal system? His opponent John Gregg said if he was elected he would end the right-to-work law that was wrongly put in place by Mitch Daniels. In spite of this, I wish him success in his new job for the benefit of all Hoosiers and the country.

I’m very upset at how it was portrayed that Joseph Sandlin stole an ambulance and crashed it into a tree. He crashed into five parked cars before striking the tree, disrupting people’s lives and totaling four of the five cars.
