Letter: Obama, Acorn could campaign for Dixon

I just returned from an out-of-town trip and read about Ollie Dixon’s run for Madison County sheriff. He does know, firsthand, about law and facilities. Due to his DWI arrest; his smuggling a loaded hand gun into the county jail; and having Judge Spencer pardon the gun charge (still being reviewed by a higher court).

Being an experienced manager for 8,000 UAW hourly employees, with GM’s failure and subsequent ownership by President Obama and the UAW, my suggestion to Ollie is to ask Acorn and President Obama to come to Anderson and help him campaign. I believe politicians are like diapers, both need changing regularly — for the same reason.
