As a walker at Aqua Gardens (Shadyside Park) I have come to notice some of the good things. Like walkers taking it upon themselves to trim bushes back that are growing out on the walk. Trimming weeds so we can sit on benches to enjoy the water.
There’s a new bridge in the wetlands. This is probably one of the most walked trails in Madison County. Maybe Indiana. There’s a beautiful Veterans Memorial at Shadyside Park. There is Prairie Farms. I think is a very nice building with decent people making, I think, a decent living wanting to expand to stay in Anderson by purchasing a half acre of Shadyside. As a veteran I don’t think the veterans will mind.
Then last but not least. We have a retired judge who would never have been noticed much if not for his mistakes and errors, overturns by higher courts trying to block it. If the deal goes through, and as a veteran and taxpayer, I hope some money goes to the trails.
