The Herald Bulletin “Our View” wrote, “Let’s keep knee-jerk paranoid reactions out of state law concerning guns on campus.” I agree. That also applies to making honest, law-abiding citizens who choose to own a gun jump through bureaucratic hoops. The Second Amendment had nothing to do with Bambi. It gives the citizen the right to protect himself even (heaven forbid) against a tyrannical government. What part of the word “infringe” do the gun grabbers not understand? Ben Franklin said, “Those who are willing to give up their freedom for safety deserve neither freedom nor safety!”

Letter to the editor: Republican tax cut is for only the rich
Don’t judge this bunch of phony majority demagogues in Indianapolis by who gets a tax cut, because if you are a middle class member working stiff, you won’t get one. At least for over $10 a year, while the rich of Indiana will get millions in cuts. Same old crap!
