Letter: Thanks to Optimists for sponsorship
I would like to thank the Anderson Noon Optimist Club for sponsoring me the past couple of weeks as I competed in the Optimist International Speech Contest. On April 18, I was fortunate to have won the state contest and with it a $1,500 scholarship. Special thanks to Jean Seipel who accompanied me and my parents to competitions at the zone and area level. Jean was also in the crowd quietly supporting me as I gave my speech at the state contest. Again, my thanks to Optimist International and the Anderson Noon Optimists who truly are a friend of youth!
