The Madison County Humane Society wishes to publicly give heartfelt thanks to Merima and Frino Nosic for holding a rummage sale on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 to benefit MCHS. They worked tirelessly getting things ready for the sale in their new barn built for this purpose. And on a cold, blustery Saturday morning, Merima even brought out hot freshly baked loaves of bread to sell. Her sons later arrived to grill hot dogs and hamburgers for hungry rummagers.
In the end, sales added up to almost $1,250 that the Nosics donated to help care for cats and dogs in-shelter at the Humane Society. This is the third charitable rummage sale that Merima and Frino have held to raise money for the Humane Society. We feel blessed to know them and ever so lucky to have them as volunteers.
