Letter: Professionals calm patient’s fears

I was admitted to Community Hospital on Nov. 6 with a blood clot in my lung (pulmonary embolism). I stayed until Monday afternoon following that weekend. I am writing this to compliment the entire staff that helped me during my stay. I would like to say a special thanks to the management and staff of the hospital restaurant. The reason I call it that is because it is run more like the room service of a hotel than typical assembly line cafeteria fare.

The nurses, techs and laboratory staff were all very professional and helpful. I would like to thank them all in having patience in dealing with my unique sense of humor. I was frightened at first about my condition and being admitted to the hospital. All these professionals did a lot to help alleviate that fear.

Thank you, Community Hospital.
