I would just like to send a special thanks to the young Elwood police officer who came to my aid the evening of Feb. 8. My vehicle broke down while I was in town for business.
I live in Greenwood and was unfamiliar with where an auto parts store was. The officer drove me to and from where I needed to get the parts for my vehicle. Without his help I would have surely froze while wandering the streets. Thank you again. I was able to meet my business obligations and get home safely that night, thanks to you.
