Letter: Let’s send someone new to Washington

Indiana Rep. Mike Pence, R-6th District, is running for re-election. Ask yourself: What has he done for Anderson and his district? I can’t think of anything positive. That in itself is depressing. Is he in it for the money and perks, or is the country going his way and he’s happy with the present state of the union? I sure hope not.

I think we need a change. We elect them to represent us, and when they won’t, it’s time to replace them. It’s time for a representative who will fight for our jobs, city and country, and not be a “yes man” for big business and foreign countries. In other words, not a give-away-free-trader.

What’s going on in Washington is a disgrace. We need new faces in Washington, D.C., and we need them now!
