Letter: Support came too late for school

I just read the article from Linda Robbins about how they should keep the traditions of the Scots and the Indians and combine them into one as she put it. This would be a beautiful thing to see.

My question is, where were you with all this chest-thumping when they closed down Madison Heights? I didn’t see you writing an article about keeping the Pirate Pride alive.

You, just like we who graduated from Madison Heights, do not want to lose your school either, but guess what? You will, because you stood by and let them close Madison Heights, thinking that it was OK because it was not your school fading into the past. But how wrong you were, because now it’s your turn to enjoy the feeling of hopelessness, like we had to do.
