If Mr. Wickens and his kind don’t like the federal health-care mandate, then they don’t have to abide by it.
What they really want is to control other people’s lives with the help of the government. That must not happen in America.
When we overthrew the reign of King George and the Church of England, we vowed not to give any church an active role in our new government, nor to allow our government to pick a favorite church.
Mr. Wickens’ church just wants to control their own flock’s birth control, their women’s bodies and all of our sex lives. If we allowed all churches to help govern us, we’d have all manner of carnage.
Oh yes, I’m sure Mr. Imhof will be ready, willing and able to protect us from those tyrant commies in Washington. We have quite a collection of those who’ve tried. There’s Terry Nichols, Tim McVeigh, John Wilkes Booth, Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan, James Earl Ray, Charles J. Guiteau, Leon Czolgosz and Richard Lawrence, just to name a few.
