Letter: Time to stop big-time spenders

I’m writing in regard to the headlines in The Herald Bulletin on Feb. 17, 2010, “Moderates Leaving Congress.” It should have read, “Liberals Leaving Congress,” because liberals, whether Republican or Democrat, are in trouble.

Congress is stacked with big-time spenders. The public can only swallow so much. It’s time to stop the big-time spenders’ methods of “business as usual.” This accounts for the tea parties attitude of “re-elect no one,” especially career politicians.

From our Statehouse to the White House it will be “business as usual” until we’re in a full-blown depression.

Next steps on the agenda are tax hikes that we can’t believe along with out-of-this world inflation.
