Morris E. Barker

March 4, 1930 - Sept. 9

NOBLESVILLE — Morris E. Barker, 79, Noblesville, died Sept. 9, 2009, at Riverview Hospital following a brief illness.  

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ellen (Huffman) Barker; three sons, Richard (wife, Kathy) Barker, Keith (wife, Lora) Barker and Tim (wife, Jackie) Barker.  

Service 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Prairie Baptist Church in Noblesville with Pastor Nathan Johnson officiating. Burial in Prairie Memorial Cemetery. 

Visitation 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, Lapel. 

Memorial contributions to Prairie Baptist Church Twin Lakes Camp Fund.

Carl Everett

SPRINGPORT — Carl Everett, of Springport, died Sept. 10, 2009, at Henry County Memorial Hospital in New Castle.

Services are pending at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, 118 S. Fifth St., Middletown.

Steve Gordon

ANDERSON — Steve Gordon, 69, of Anderson, died Sept. 9, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Patricia R. Harrison

April 20, 1930 - Aug. 25, 2009

CARY, N. C. — Patricia R. Harrison, 79, died Aug. 25, 2009, at her home.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, David J. Harrison; son, Thomas S. Harrison and wife Terri; daughter, Kimberly H. Feller and husband John.

Memorial visitation 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St., Hartford City. Interment of cremains at Hartford City Cemetery.

ELWOOD — James Jackson of Elwood died Sept. 10, 2009, at his residence.

ALEXANDRIA — Mary Jo Leavitt, 62, of Alexandria, died Sept. 9, 2009, at her residence.

ANDERSON — Donald Jack McNeal, 73, of Anderson, died Sept. 9, 2009, at his residence after an extended illness.

Pamala Lee McNally

MIDDLETOWN — Pamala Lee (Runyan) McNally, 63, of Middletown, died Sept. 9, 2009, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie.

Services are pending at Ballard and Sons Funeral Home, Middletown Chapel.

Eudora Mae Morgan

April 4, 1928 - Sept. 9, 2009

ELWOOD — Eudora Mae (Reichart) Morgan, 81, of Elwood died Sept. 9, 2009, in Kokomo.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas D. Morgan; a daughter, Marsha and husband Matt Fettig; two sons, David and wife Rita Morgan and Kevin and Cheryl Morgan.

Service 11 a.m. Saturday at Dunnichay Funeral Home, Elwood, with the Rev. Mark Joyner officiating. Entombment at the Elwood Mausoleum.

Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions to Guardian Angel Hospice, 513 W. Lincoln Road, Kokomo, IN 46902.

Vaughn E. Pratt

LAFAYETTE — Vaughn E. Pratt, 61, of Lafayette, died Sept. 9, 2009, at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.

Arrangements are pending at Dunninchay Funeral Home, Elwood.

Margaret J. Remington

ELWOOD — Margaret J. Remington, 75, of Elwood, died Sept. 10, 2009, at Community Parkview.

Arrangements are pending at Dunnichay Funeral Home.

Mary Diamond Ross

Aug. 15, 1938 - Sept. 9, 2009

FORT WAYNE — Mary Diamond Ross, 71, of Fort Wayne, died Sept. 9, 2009, at Hospice Home.

Survivors include her husband, Louis F. Ross; son, Andrew (Erin) Solonn; daughter, Hope (Don) Dressler.

Services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Winchester Road Chapel, Fort Wayne. Visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Private family burial Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Elwood.

Judith E. Smith

April 29, 1931 - Sept. 10, 2009

ELWOOD — Judith E. Smith, 78, of Elwood, died Sept. 10, 2009, at her residence.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert Smith; two daughters, Toni and husband Don Rogers and Susan and husband Roger Campbell; a son, Michael DiRuzza.

Service 3 p.m. Monday at Dunnichay Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Rogers officiating. 

Burial at Elwood City Cemetery.

Visitation 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Chet Rodney Yost

July 2, 1958 - Sept. 9, 2009

ANDERSON — Chet Rodney Yost, 51, of Anderson, died Sept. 9, 2009, at Community Hospital.

Survivors include his stepfather, Eddie Yost.

Cremation will take place.

Burial of cremated remains in East Maplewood Cemetery. Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service handled the funeral arrangements.

Vivian C. Zuck

ANDERSON — Vivian Christine (Hardacre) Zuck, 90, of Anderson, died Sept. 9, 2009, at Saint John’s Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Arrangements are pending at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
