Southview Crime Watch meeting set

ANDERSON — The next Southview Crime Watch meeting which includes Bock and Rabourn’s additions will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 18, at East Lynn Christian Church, 522 E. 53rd St. Any southside neighborhood resident or interested party is welcome to attend.



Pyle will speak at Elwood church

ELWOOD — Judge Rudolph Pyle will host a discussion about Madison County courts and the new criminal justice system on Wednesday.

The talk will be held at East Main Christian Church, 1801 Main St., from 6 to 7 p.m.



Former Colts player to speak in county

ANDERSON — Devon McDonald, a former Notre Dame and Indianapolis Colts football player, will be speaking to youth in Alexandria on Wednesday as part of SportsWorld, a youth mentoring group.

On Friday at Madison Park Church of God, McDonald will be the keynote speaker at the Madison County Sheriff’s Department Chaplains Banquet.

SportsWorld brings professional athletes to share personal life experiences with students, helping them to recognize the consequences of their choices while challenging them with the message of hope.
