Good morning.

It’s 6:30 a.m. Thursday and the staff at The Herald Bulletin is getting down to work. We will pursue news throughout the day and will have frequent updates here on our Web site.

Today, the Tea Party group will meet at the Emergy Lee Building in Alexandria at 6;30 p.m. with Madison County Sheriff candidate Bruce Dunham expected to attend. The Anderson City Council is set to meet at 7 p.m. at the Anderson City Building. Also, we speak to the family of Mark Croy, who is recovering at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a police-action shooting. Plus, an interview with the rock band Kansas, which performs at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Saturday.
