Radio Reality will air Monday

ANDERSON — The “Taking It The Street Beat” radio reality show will air 7 p.m. Monday on WHBU.

The program will broadcast from New Birth Worship Center, 403 W. 22nd St.

On the agenda will be census and unemployment.



Lee to talk on ‘Critter Conversations’

ANDERSON — Local radio show “Critter Conversations with Animal Lover Jan” will feature Mary Jo Lee, chief executive officer of Alternatives Inc. The show airs at 9 a.m. Saturday on WHBU-AM 1240.

According to a press release, women in domestic violence situations often are unwilling to leave their home because of the danger to their pets.



MHHS pavers on sale this month

ANDERSON — Graduates and friends of Madison Heights High School have raised nearly $18,000 for a monument to honor the Pirates. The dedication date for the monument is tentatively scheduled for May at Anderson High School. Approximately $2,500 is still needed, organizers said.

Engraved brick pavers, $55 and $125, can be purchased through March 31. Order forms can be obtained at http://frontiernet.net/~joeperk/MHHS%20Brick%20Form.htm.

The form and a check should be sent to Madison County Community Foundation, 33 W. 10th St., Suite 600, Anderson, IN 46016. Write “MHHS Bricks” in the memo section. Forms and checks should be received no later than April 30.
